USWE aims to mitigate the bounce with its No Dancing Monkey technology in the Airborne 9L Hydration Pack. The Airborne 9L makes for an ideal day pack, thanks to its lofty 3-liter hydration reservoir, and ample pocket space for stashing your tools, snacks, and phone — but where the pack really excels is in eliminating bounce and sway while you ride. That’s because USWE employs the NDM Race Suspension Harness, rather than the traditional waist and chest belt, to secure the pack in place. NDM fastens to your chest with stretchy straps and hook-and-loop tabs, so you can dial in the fit without feeling restricted. The straps adjust massively, accommodating riders size medium through extra-large, securing snugly around a chest between 33 and 44-inches. The pack keeps comfort going beyond the suspension harness with high vent foam shoulder straps, and a ventilated back panel with anti-slip ridges to help channel cool air towards your core. Inside the pack you’ll find a Hydrapak Elite 3. 0-liter bladder, capable of stowing all of the life-giving liquid you need for a hefty ride that packs in the miles. The Hydrapak Elite uses a slide-seal top that opens wide for easy filling, and securely closes for a leak-proof seal. It’s fully reversible, making cleaning and drying a breeze, plus its dishwasher safe, so you can be sure to kill any of those lingering flavors from water you forgot to drain out at the end of last season. Beyond the reservoir, the Airborne 9L offers you an assortment of organization pockets, with water-resistant media pockets, mesh pockets for spare tubes and CO2, and elastic straps that keep your multi tool and tire levers right where you need them, when you need them.
